Sakae Esuno is a manga series by Mirai Nikki, also known as Future Diary. On a royal diary game, 12 characters compete for the right to write future diaries. These future diaries are one-of-a-kind and have the ability to foretell events. Deus Ex Machina, the God of Space and Time, is a kast survivor. Yuki Amano, Yuno Gasal, Minene Uryu, and Aru Akise make up the cast. It was Yuki Amano’s only goal in life to remain alive. Future Diary season 2 Release Date
There have been speculations that the Future Diary sequel has been cancelled, which is devastating news for all of the fans. However, as far as we know, neither Studio Asread nor the other official anime groups have announced that this series has been cancelled. However, even though the demand for the second half is high, there are extremely few prospects of it being renewed. Whether or if Season 2 will be released is difficult to say. In part 2, the tale has already been wrapped up, which is the main reason for the delay. And we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything official about a second season. The second season is likely to be renewed towards the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023.
Is Future Diary Season 2 Cancelled?
Maybe, but who knows. No official word has come from Studio Asread or any of the other production companies associated with this anime regarding the creation of a sequel. In addition, the first season ended on a high note and there was no suspense left, but the fan volume is so strong that we might have a second season with a fresh plot and new characters.
Fans who haven’t seen the OVA episode of the first season are the reason for the huge demand for the second season. As a result, the first season finale left the audience unsatisfied with the conclusion. Because the OVA episode, released in June 2013, addressed and properly wrapped up the storey, Future Diary no longer required a season 2.
Sakae Esuno can only continue the series if she writes more stories for the sake of it. The renewal of the second season will be announced only then.
As it turned out, an OVA episode was produced in 2019 to wrap up everything left out of the plot and give it a lovely and satisfactory conclusion after something was left out of the final season 1 episode when it was aired.
Future Diary Season 2 Plot Expectations
This is based on Yukiteru Amano, a sweet-looking high school student. He constantly seemed to be occupied with his diary and his own thoughts, and he was a natural introvert. He kept a notebook where he wrote down everything that happened in his life. He was a socially inactive person with only two online pals, and his job performance was merely mediocre. Digitally, he had two friends: Deus Ex Machina and Deus servant. He becomes a living creature after several episodes as the deity of time and space. He instructed Yukiteru to join the Game in order to gain access to the god of time and space, which he did. As a result, the game revolves around 11 levels in which the participants must destroy each other’s diaries in order to complete kevel. The gods seem to prefer Yukiteru over the rest.
Fortunately, the game’s protagonist is wary of all the bloodshed and does everything he can to avoid it. Yuno Gasai, a new acquaintance he makes in the game, has a crush on Yukiteru as well. In addition to saving and aiding Yukiteru, he also helps him achieve his goals so that he might become the god of both time and space. Following this, a slew of secrets and motivations for various characters’ actions were made public.
