“Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” has been acquired by Hulu, the streaming service revealed on Monday.
With the participation of every member of Bon Jovi, both current and past, this four-part documentary is the first of its kind to chronicle the band’s history. It also claims to show the audience the guy behind the music, the frontman.
Legends like Jon Bon Jovi let the world in on his most vulnerable moments as they happen, which is even more unusual than the story of a once-in-a-lifetime skill, which is amazing in and of itself.
From Jersey Shore bars to the world’s largest stages—a memoir spanning four decades filled with personal footage, unreleased early demos, songs written by the band members themselves, and rare images.
The description goes as follows: “The series relives the victories and losses, greatest hits, worst disappointments and most public moments of friction” (Hulu).
Executive producing and directing the documentary was Gotham Chopra (“Kobe Bryant’s Muse,” “Man in the Arena,” “Tom vs. Time”). An further executive producer for ROS is Ameeth Sankaran, with Giselle Parets.
Producer and editor Alex Trudeau Viriato is widely recognized for his significant creative contribution to the development of the series. The production company behind the docuseries was Chopra’s ROS.
On Friday, April 26, “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” will make its premiere.
