Upon taking over as director of the Secret Service in August, Cheatle learned only after the fact that the driver had hit a curb on the approach to a tunnel. Fox News Digital reached out to the Secret Service for comment, but the agency declined. Someone seeing the scene from a nearby building shot a video of the chaos and shared it on the video-sharing platform TikTok.
The footage captures the moment when Harris’ motorcade has stopped and armed agents have barricaded the area in preparation for the transfer of the vice president. On her journey back to the White House, Harris returned home without incident.
