Prince William went to the Christmas wedding of his ex-girlfriend without Kate Middleton on Saturday. The Prince of Wales was seen at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Gloucestershire, where Rose Farquhar and George Gemmell got married in a ceremony with a winter theme.
It is known that William dated Rose Farquhar after he graduated from Eton College in the summer of 2000. The two had known each other since they were kids, but they broke up just before the future King went to school at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland.
They stayed friends, though, and Rose even went to the royal wedding of William and Kate at Westminster Abbey in 2011. The former contestant on “The Voice” was also one of the 600 people who went to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle in 2018.
Prince William looked good at Rose’s wedding. He wore a classic black tuxedo and bowtie to hide his identity. The wedding took place at Highgrove House in Tetbury, the private home of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Rose stayed warm on her wedding day in a white dress with long sleeves and a fur cape. She wore pearl earrings and white heels to finish off her bridal look. George, the groom, is in school to become a vet. He looked just as comfortable in his black jacket and green tartan pants.
Captain Ian Farquhar, Rose’s father and a former Master of the Beaufort Hunt, quickly congratulated the happy couple on their marriage.
He told the Daily Mail, “He couldn’t be a more charming son-in-law for the future.”

Kate Middleton’s whereabouts were still a mystery during the wedding, but she was likely resting at Adelaide Cottage after a busy week of royal duties.
The Princess of Wales hosted her second Royal Family carol service for ITV on Thursday night at Westminster Abbey. Her fans were pleased about this. Prince William and their two older children, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 8, also came to the party with Kate, who is 41. The others were King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, and Sophie Wessex.
