The late May and his wife’s marriage encountered a rocky patch in October 2015. In October 2015, May filed for divorce and asked to be awarded custody of the couple’s two children. The divorce was not finalized, however. May died before their divorce was finalized.

It was during their marriage that Turner and May worked together on the podcast “Perfect 10.” The podcast’s sole intent was to be humorous, however, it did cover a wide range of issues in its various episodes. They were a comedy duo who often toured together, leading some to speculate that he was the brains behind her routines.
The criticism of her artistic abilities spurred her on. Her ambition drove her to create “Limeade,” a send-up of Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” album, in an attempt to gain attention. Why Did Lahna Turner Want Ralphie May Divorce?
Lahna Turner divorced her husband after eleven years. She and Ralphie May had reached the point of no return, so she filed for divorce. Turner testified that her spouse was sexually abusive, suicidal, and a danger to their children due to his drug usage, according to court filings.
The procedure of getting a divorce was not simple, much like their marriage had been challenging due to insurmountable differences. May’s death in 2017 came despite the fact that the divorce papers had been filed in 2015. In the middle of it all, Turner applied for and received a temporary restraining order.
May’s tragic death from heart collapse rendered the pending divorce procedures moot. Turner’s assertions and May’s fitness for custody had escalated to the point where May was subjected to random drug testing twice a month.
Turner was given legal guardianship of the kids, and she also inherited May’s possessions and money per his will. After her husband passed away, Turner posted a series of tweets in his honor, in which she expressed her undying devotion to him and hoped for him eternal peace.
