The legendary member of the Digital Underground reportedly died from a combination of fentanyl, alcohol, and methamphetamine after an accidental overdose, as reported by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Shock G was discovered unconscious in his hotel room in Tampa, Florida on April 22, according to REVOLT. His final known activity was strolling outside the building the day before he passed away, according to the hotel manager, who was the last person to see the 57-year-old.
Shock G allegedly became the manager’s worry when he returned to his hotel room to investigate after missing his check-out time. They contacted the authorities without delay after discovering the unconscious hip-hop artist from the 1990s in bed.
