From the beginning, Space Force has been met with a mixed reaction. A 39 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, yet a 75 percent audience score, characterised the first season. Early critical reaction to season two has been positive, with a 100 percent rating from reviewers on the day of the show’s debut.

Space Force Season 3 Release Date: Is It Coming Or Not?
Fans are eagerly expecting the solution to this billion dollar question, but unfortunately we don’t have one. Most of the time Netflix gives shows at least one month of consideration before making a decision about their future on the streaming service.
Even if we’re lucky, we won’t see the show again until at least early in 2023, if not later. However, given the cliffhanger that wrapped Season 2 and the promise of a third season from writer Greg Daniels, there appears to be hope for a third season.
Space Force Season 3 Storyline: What We Can Expect?
Season two was three episodes shorter than season one, raising the question of whether or not there was a lack of confidence in the show. A little digging suggests the latter, as Daniels’ earlier series, Upload, experienced the exact same fate, slashing its run from 10 to seven episodes.
“I shot [Upload] literally just before Space Force in Vancouver with a lot of the same crew, which is basically the Upload crew, so I just sort of borrowed that for Space Force,” he said to Collider, confirming that both episodes were shot in Canada.
As the COVID rules were tightening, it would have been more difficult to get the concerts off the ground.

Who’s Going To Be In Space Force 3?
You should expect everyone from the original cast to return if the show is revived because the already large ensemble hasn’t seen any major departures. Steve Carell, Diana Silvers, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Tawny Newsome, Jimmy O Yang, and Don Lake make up the cast of General Naird (Steve Carell), as well as Erin Naird (Diane Silvers) (Brad).Additionally, Patton Oswalt has joined the cast (kind of) via video link to play Captain Lancaster, a spacecraft captain who is currently living on his own somewhere between Earth and Mars.
As Maggie, Naird’s soon-to-be ex, Lisa Kudrow’s imprisoned character, we’re not sure if we’ll ever see her again. Despite the fact that we don’t know what Maggie did to wind up in jail, her appearances on the show were restricted to a few video chats.

What Will Space Force 3 Be About?
If Space Force does return, the plot will be simple: stop the asteroid, save the world. Ending season two, Naird and his team detected a massive asteroids travelling towards Earth, and the gang couldn’t think of anything else than to perform The Beach Boys’ song Kokomo to keep calm. Since it’s on a direct path for Earth, we now have to figure out a way to thwart it.
As a result, there is really no great deal. Angela’s connection with Chan, and Naird’s struggle to maintain a work-life balance, are expected to be included in this season’s storyline.
