When Amazon picked up the first season of The Legend of Vox Machina, it was confirmed that the second season would follow. There were fourteen additional episodes ordered after a successful Kickstarter campaign funded the first ten, which were aired on Amazon (expanding season one to twelve episodes, with the same schedule for season two).
“As proven by their tremendously successful Kickstarter campaign, Critical Role forged a new trail for original digital content,” stated Jennifer Salke, CEO of Amazon Studios (via Variety). Prime Video users will be able to watch The Legend of Vox Machina and the upcoming Critical Role series thanks to the efforts of the entire team.
With the support of its fans, Critical Role’s Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham stated they were “extremely stunned” by the response to their Kickstarter campaign.

The Legend Of Vox Machina Season 2 Release Date
Although it takes time to create an animated series, the Vox Machina team has plenty of time to begin work on season two after a highly successful Kickstarter campaign in 2019.
Season one was delayed due to the pandemic, which moved the show’s premiere from late 2020 to early 2022. We’d expect additional episodes to be released sooner than you might think.
It’s possible that season two may be released before the end of this year, putting it back to the original plan. Unless this occurs, the earliest we can expect is January 2023.
