The newborn boy of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson has a new name, according to a court order. Documents acquired indicate that the couple has officially changed their son Tatum’s name from Baby Kardashian, which the Good American co-founder, 39, originally entered on his birth certificate since she had not yet decided on a moniker at the time.
A judge in Los Angeles County legally changed the baby’s name to Tatum Thompson on Thursday, at the age of 13 months. California law gives parents the option of giving their kid either the father’s or the mother’s last name, or a mix of the two, with the decision being final until overturned by a court.
In July of 2022, Kardashian and Thompson, both 32, became parents to a boy. Together, they raised True, now 5. Last year, Kardashian revealed that she had given birth to a kid through surrogacy.

The reality star announced Tatum’s name in May’s episode of season three of The Kardashians, and she spoke about her difficulties connecting with her son following the surrogacy in subsequent episodes of the show.
Kris Jenner, showing her love and support for her daughter, reminded Kardashian that she should be gentler with herself.
“I wish I wasn’t so critical of myself,” Kardashian said during a confessional, “because I’m very kind to everyone else, I’m just not very kind to myself. But being a mom is truly one of, just the most magical experiences ever.”
