Deckhand When he made his Below Deck season 9 debut last fall, Wes O’Dell instantly became a fan favourite with both the audience and his co-stars. His laid-back demeanour and lack of dramatic tendencies make him one of the most likeable cast members in the show’s history. His laid-back demeanour was a welcome respite from the season’s turmoil.
To keep fans guessing, the Jacksonville native hasn’t been seen in public since season 9. Everyone on Below Deck has been too eager to share their personal and professional lives with the world in each season of “Below Deck.” While the cameras were rolling, Wes, on the other hand, remained more private and reticent.

Wes Below Deck Season 9 Storyline
Below Deck has had a strange season. It’s been dogged by allegations of racism all season, on the one hand. To be fair, we did see a gay stew and an apparently straight deckhand having some fun together. Since then, of course, we’ve had our bad points as well as high points.
It’s only natural, then, that the season comes to a conclusion in such a weird and perplexing manner. But at the very least, I’d say Season 9 was a step up from Season 8? Maybe? No matter how difficult it may be to watch, there’s always a new season in the Med or on a sailboat waiting for you after this one.
Chef Rachel Hargrove is still outraged about ice cream at the beginning of the finals. Heather Chase instructed Eddie Lucas, dressed as Alexander Hamilton, to deliver the dessert to the beach picnic before the guests had finished their meals, and she is enraged by this. Although the chief stew was simply following the chef’s orders, this nevertheless happened.
In front of her, she radioed Eddie for help. Ice cream is at risk of melting since it has been exposed to the elements. Guests aren’t even aware of the yelling and shoving going on among the employees. The fact that Rayna Lindsey is trying to get Heather to quiet down is not going down well with her. As the season draws to a close, tempers are fraying and resentment is running high.
Wes O’Dell is flirting with Kaylee Milligan on the M/Y Seanna. Wes, on the other hand, thinks the new third stew falls short of the previous third stew. Jessica Albert has been a huge loss to him. In addition, the guests’ impending return from their beach picnic cancels his invitation to linger out on the pool platform.
As a special treat for the guests, Heather has come up with a way to take their love of Hamilton to the next level. In order to commemorate Aaron Burr’s death in a duel, she’s asked Eddie and Jake Foulger to do the same (sir). It’s all about the first officer and the lead deckhand. It’s evident Captain Lee Rosbach isn’t. That, or he’s just not a fan of Hamilton.
