Survivor Season 43 Storyline
Season 42 of Survivor was filmed just after season 41, thus the players didn’t know what to expect when they got on the island. To receive their flint, machete, and pots, the players had to win a relay race in which they were divided into the Vati, Taku, and Ika tribes. This is when the game gets tricky.
Contestant Daniel (Vati) fell and dislocated his shoulder but remained in the competition after receiving medical assistance. To get an early advantage in the game, Drea, Hai, and Lindsay (all of Ika) were given the option to form an alliance while on the relay despite being on different tribes; the trio chose to take advantage of the opportunity. Returning to the task at hand, Ika was successful.
Ika and Vati build a shelter while Vati and Taku play a different game to gain resources, each having the opportunity to do so. Individual amulets prove to be a benefit for Drea, Hai, and Lindsay. You must utilize amulets with every other amulet in the game, but the trick is that fewer amulets have more power when used in conjunction with other amulets.

During the first Summit challenge, Drea gains the ability to cast an additional vote at the tribal council, giving her an edge over the competition. It was not a tribal council that made the first cut of the season. Because they had lately been weaning off a prescription medicine that might induce reactions while under physical and mental stress, Taku’s Jackson exited the show.
Even though Taku was down a player, he was still able to win the first immunity challenge, which meant that Ika would go to the first tribal council. In the end, Zach was the first player to be booted from the 42nd season of Survivor.
