Why Did Jinni Nmixx Leave: On February 22, 2022, JYP Entertainment revealed their new girl group that will deliver a new, fresh and innovative concept. This is NMIXX, with 7 great females that worked hard during their training and earned their position in this band. Since then we have seen them take the stage with remarkable vigor.
Although not quite a year has passed since the launch of this girl group, we know that all these idols have immense potential that they can continue to develop in the future. Everyone expects much more from them and we know they will deliver. Although now they will have one less member because one of them opted to leave the group.
Choi Yun Jin, who we knew better than Jinnie opted to quit NMIXX. She entered JYP Entertainment in 2016 when she was only 13 years old in Korean age. She had to train herself for 6 hard years to debut. We witnessed her excel in the studio and on stage with her girl ensemble.

Why Did Jinni Nmixx Leave?
Why Did Jinni Nmixx Leave: It was announced by JYP Entertainment that Jinni would be departing NMIXX due to personal reasons. This information was not made public; all that was provided was what the agency said in its statement. Many others were taken aback and were left in a state of anguish by this news. In either case, the K-Pop organization requested that they show Yun Jin their affection despite the fact that she is pursuing a different career route.
Either Jinni came to the conclusion that her dream wasn’t to become an idol, or the strain became too much for her to handle. We have nothing but respect for her decision, and we really wish her the best of luck in all of the initiatives she is currently working on.
What Will Happen to Nmixx From Now on?
JYP Entertainment has also stated that NMIXX will continue its activities, but with a reduced lineup of only six members. Therefore, in the years to come, we can look forward to witnessing the rise of even more phenomenal idols and the music they create.
Even though the fans are upset over Jinni leaving, they are confident that they will continue to shower the girl group with the same kind of love and support as she did. We are committed to maintaining our support for both NMIXX and Jinni. We have no doubt that each of them will continue to put in long hours of labor in the years to come, albeit in their own unique ways.
Nmixx’s Career
JYP Entertainment made the announcement on July 9, 2021, that a new female group will be making its debut in February 2022. This would be the company’s first new girl group since Itzy in 2019. Between the 16th and the 25th of July, JYP Entertainment accepted pre-orders for a limited edition of the group’s debut package, which was titled Blind Package. This package featured the group’s debut album in addition to other materials relevant to the album. Between August 6 and November 19, a variety of dance videos and cover versions of songs were used to disclose the group members.
JYP Entertainment made the announcement that the group would be called Nmixx on January 26, 2022. Prior to that time, the band had been referred to informally as JYPn. It was announced on the 2nd of February that they would make their debut with the release of Ad Mare on the 22nd of February. After a positive test for COVID-19 was conducted on a member of the group, JYP Entertainment made the announcement on February 18, 2022, that the debut showcase for the group would be rescheduled to take place on March 1 rather than the original date of February 22.
On May 2, Nmixx and Gabby’s Dollhouse from DreamWorks Animation released the Korean version of “Hey Gabby!” together with the B-side “Sparkling Party.” This release was made possible by a collaboration between the two companies. They also took part in Project Ribbon’s Summer Vacation Project, performing a cover of Rainbow’s “Kiss” alongside Fromis 9 and Oh My Girl Banhana. The song was taken from the band’s debut extended play, Gossip Girl, which was released in 2009. The song was made available for purchase on July 31.
Nmixx announced the release of their second single album, titled Entwurf, on September 19, alongside the lead single “Dice.” On November 23, the band issued their debut single under the “Intermixxion” moniker, as well as their first Christmas tune, which was titled “Funky Glitter Christmas.”
JYP Entertainment made the announcement that Jinni had left the group and canceled her contract on December 9, 2022, citing personal reasons as the reason for her departure. The group will now continue with six members instead of seven.
