Here we are talking about Adam Zimmer Death. According to the findings of Hennepin County (Minn.) Medical Examiner’s Office, the death of former Vikings defensive coordinator Adam Zimmer in October was brought on by a long-term addiction to alcohol.
On October 31, the body of the 38-year-old man was discovered inside his home. His father, Mike, was a former head coach for the Minnesota Vikings.
According to the findings from the office of the medical examiner, Zimmer’s death was brought on by “complications of chronic ethanol use disorder.”
Beginning his career in coaching with the Saints as an assistant linebackers coach was Zimmer’s first job. During the 2009 season, he was a part of the New Orleans Saints team that won the Super Bowl.
Later, in 2014, Zimmer followed his father to Minnesota, where he eventually progressed through the ranks to become the co-defensive coordinator of the Vikings, a post that he ultimately shared with Andre Patterson in 2020.
After the 2021 season, Mike Zimmer was let go, along with most of his coaching staff, including his son. When he passed away, Zimmer was employed by the Bengals as an offensive analyst for the team.
