Patrick Stone, Sharon Stone’s younger brother, passed away. He was 57. According to TMZ, Patrick passed away early on Sunday in his native Pennsylvania. A representative for the county coroner’s office stated that the cause of death was “being ruled as a sudden cardiac death related to heart illness.”
Late on Monday afternoon, Sharon, 64, posted a brief tribute to Instagram in memory of her brother. In the caption of a picture of them both hugging tightly, she wrote, “RIP my brother Patrick Joseph Stone,” along with a dove emoji.
Less than two years have passed since River, Patrick’s son and Sharon’s nephew and godson, died at the age of 11 months from total organ failure. Tasha Stone, Patrick’s wife, shared on social media that her husband had passed away on Monday, claiming that he had been reunited in heaven with their young boy.
“It feels like my heart has been ripped from my chest. Patrick moved in with our adorable River. He was my everything, and I don’t know what more to say,” she wrote in a devastating letter, as reported by TMZ. Tasha said, “I’m not sure how life is meant to look without my spouse at my side and quite frankly I don’t want to, but I will of course.

I will always cherish you and our amazing (and some not so-wonderful, but just as essential) memories near to my heart and visit those memories whenever I think of them. Until we meet again. “Honey, sweetheart, you are loved. Through it all, I’ve hoped that River at least has his father with him, and I hope the two of you are enjoying yourself,” the widow said.
Patrick leaves behind his wife, his sister who is the star of “Basic Instinct,” and their two other siblings, Michael and Kelly Stone. After River Stone’s sad death in August 2021, the Stone family is still healing. When her nephew passed away, the “Total Recall” star posted a devastating video of the little child smiling while Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” was playing in the background.
River had only been in the hospital for a week when he passed away from organ failure. Stone reported a month after River’s passing that his donated organs had helped save three lives. According to the “Casino” actress, her nephew and godson’s internal organs were donated to people in need. “Our family found sanctuary in the fact that my godson was able to save three lives, two infants and a 45-year-old man,” she said.

The mother of three continued, “I can only say that you never, ever know when a catastrophe will strike in your life or your family, but this option to be an organ donor, it saved us, saved our family. Although there are many diverse opinions on this, it ultimately brought us some serenity. The Stone family has been contacted by Post for comment regarding the death of her brother.
