Amanda Kaylor & Erich Schwer’s Romantic History
In January of 2022, real estate analyst Erich Schwer from New Jersey was introduced to Amanda Kaylor through the online dating service Hinge. They immediately clicked and began dating. There was a whirlwind romance and they spent every waking moment together in March of 2022, according to Kaylor. Her newborn baby, due in January 2020, was also introduced to him.

Their romance, however, was cut short when Schwer revealed that he was going to be a contestant on the reality dating show The Bachelorette, where he would vie for the heart of nurse and former Dancing with the Stars competitor Gabby Windey.
On March 10, 2022, two weeks before to the commencement of production, Schwer sent a text message to Kaylor explaining that he wanted to participate in the show to see whether or not he had any other potential career paths. He added that he needed to make a change in his profession since he was unhappy.
He begged Kaylor to stay with him, but she broke up with him two days later when he didn’t show up. In an interview with Reality Steve, a writer who writes about The Bachelor franchise, in September 2022, Kaylor discussed her relationship with Schwer and the texts she received from him.
