The actress from The Last of Us married actor and comedian Stephen Full in September 2009. Three sons were born to her and him later. Wrestling was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2020. Wersching was raised in the heart of the Gateway City. She debuted in an episode of “Star Trek: Enterprise” when she was 24 years old, in 2002. In 2009, she joined the cast of ’24’ for its seventh season as FBI agent Renee Walker.
In addition to her roles in such hit series as “The Vampire Diaries,” “Marvel’s Runaways,” and “The Rookie,” the actress has also starred in other notable productions. The second season of “Star Trek: Picard” marked her final appearance as the Borg Queen.
Throughout her twenty-year acting career, Wersching had several recurring roles. The Missouri native’s voice and motion capture portrayal as Tess in the critically acclaimed video game The Last of Us also garnered widespread acclaim.
In 2020, when Annie Wersching was diagnosed with cancer, she kept right on working. Since the actress didn’t alert the public to her illness, her premature passing was shocking to many.
