Jonathan Majors Sued By His Ex-Girlfriend
Grace Jabbari, Jonathan Majors’s ex-girlfriend, has suddenly filed a new case against him. In it, she says that he hurt her physically, verbally, and financially over a period of time between 2021 and 2023. Majors was found guilty in December by a New York criminal court of assaulting and bothering Jabbari during one of those events, which happened in Manhattan in March 2023 during a fight.
Abbari’s legal claim was sent to federal court in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday. In addition to the event in New York that led to Majors’ conviction, Jabbari says he also hit her in Los Angeles and London.

Jabbari says that Majors “started hitting Grace’s head against a marble floor while strangling her until she felt she could no longer breathe” in London in September 2022. He also supposedly talked her out of going to the hospital, even though she had a head injury. The suit says that Jabbari texted Majors later that she had “brain fog” and “a constant ringing headache,” but he threatened to kill himself if she went to the doctor.
Jabbari says in the current lawsuit that Majors resorted to very publicly abusing her reputation after he was arrested and after his criminal trial. Lawyer Priya Chaudhry for Majors stated that Jabbari’s suit was “no surprise” and that her client “is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari.”
Majors was found guilty of two minor counts of domestic violence against Jabbari in December in New York. The counts were attack in the third degree and harassment in the second degree. The jurors gave Majors a split verdict, finding him not guilty of intentional assault in the third degree or aggravated harassment in the second degree.
This meant that they did not think Majors had meant to hurt or bother Jabbari before the fight. Majors will probably get his sentence on April 8.
Marvel and Disney said they were removing Majors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) just hours after the December decision. Earlier, Marvel had planned for the massively popular Hollywood star to be the main character in a new MCU movie.
Emma Duncan (whom Majors was engaged to from 2015 to 2019) and Maura Hooper, two other ex-girlfriends of Majors, also said bad things about him in the past. Both women said Majors was controlling and hurtful to them mentally, and Duncan also said he hurt her physically. Majors rejected both women’s claims through Chaudhry, and Chaudhry called those relationships “toxic.”
According to a report in June 2018, Majors abused two girlfriends physically, mentally, and emotionally while he was a student at Yale University’s David Geffen School of Drama from 2013 to 2017. Majors “vehemently denied” all of those claims through his lawyer at the time, Dustin A. Pusch.
