Chase Briscoe Announces His Wife’s Pregnancy
Chase Briscoe recently disclosed that he and his spouse Marissa are expecting twins. The Stewart-Haas driver made the announcement during his Martinsville Speedway qualifying performance.
On October 2, 2021, the native of Indiana and his spouse welcomed their first kid, Brooks Wayne Cunningham Briscoe. Again, almost 2.5 years after Brooks was born, the couple is expecting a child.
Starting from the fifth position on the grid for today’s Cook Out 400, Chase Briscoe is the highest-placed SHR driver. The 29-year-old revealed that Marissa is expecting twins in October, just before his run at Martinsville.
He added further, “There’s not much in life honestly that compares the doctor being like, ‘Oh congratulations there’s two.’ There are very few things I feel like compared in life to that. It’s going to be a big change in our household but I’m excited, it is scary though at the same time for sure.”
Briscoe’s pre-race revelation was accompanied by an Instagram update featuring multiple photos shared by Chase and Marissa Briscoe.
Chase and Marissa held two baby outfits in their hands in a photo. Marissa wrote, “We’ve had a little secret…🤫. There will be five Briscoes in October 👶🏻👶🏻.”
The fan base reacted emotionally to the news. Xfinity Series racer Riley Herbst and NASCAR reporter Alex Weaver were among the well-wishers who congratulated the couple upon hearing the news.
On Instagram, Samantha Busch, Kyle Busch’s wife, congratulated the couple as well. In response to the couple’s post, she said, “Awww yay!! Congrats!!”
