They were blocking traffic in the westbound lanes of Interstate 4 at Exit 67. The three women, named Isabella Giannosa (26 years old), My Truong (24 years old), and Jenni Nguyen (24 years old), were taken into custody and arrested. They were then transported to the Orange County Jail and charged with misdemeanor refusal to obey a police officer.
A video obtained by the station showed three women, all wearing face coverings, standing in the middle of the westbound ramp lanes near Disney Springs. They were holding banners supporting Palestine.
One of the banners had “Free Palestine” written on it with a Mickey Mouse emblem in between. The protesters were also chanting “Free Palestine” and other slogans. Drivers got annoyed by the situation and started honking their horns and driving through the grass to go around the women.
