A Florida deputy was arrested for crimes involving a child.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested after a warrant was issued by the Hialeah Police Department.
42-year-old Manuel Chaveco Delgado, assigned to Detention Services, was arrested.
According to local law enforcement, Chaveco Delgado faced charges of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation Child Between 12-16, and Showing Obscure Material to Minor.
Based on other news reports, he is also accused of molesting the same victim in Hialeah Gardens. He was facing numerous charges.
