A local homicide investigation found that a man killed a woman at a Central Florida home.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Tuscan Loon Drive in the Palm River area following a 911 call reporting an emergency at a home.
Once on scene, deputies located a deceased adult female with upper body trauma. An adult male, also at the home, was transported to Tampa General Hospital with minor injuries, according to local law enforcement.
Detectives learned that 35-year-old Kyle Sanchez killed his girlfriend, 37-year-old Amanda Roark, while they were at the home together.
Kyle Sanchez was charged with Premeditated First Degree Murder with a Weapon.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, it appeared to be a domestic-related incident, and all parties involved have been accounted for.
