Toby Meakins, making his feature directorial debut, is helming the upcoming British horror thriller Choose or Die, formerly known as. Asa Butterfield, Iola Evans, Eddie Marsan, and Robert Englund are among the film’s many notable players. Netflix has set the release date of Choose or Die for April 15th, 2022. The shooting took place in London and was wrapped up in April of the following year.
Choose Or Die Plot
After playing a long-lost 1980s survival horror game, a young developer unleashes a hidden curse that causes reality to disintegrate, forcing her to make harrowing decisions with catastrophic consequences. In the hopes of winning a $100,000 prize that has gone unclaimed, a student plays an obscure 1980s survival computer game. After a series of frightening events, she realizes she’s no longer playing for the money, but for her own life.
As Kayla (Iola Evans) plays an ancient computer game to collect the unclaimed prize money that comes with finishing it, the plot explains that she is a broke college student. Kayla begins playing the game thinking it will be simple, but she doesn’t grasp the curse she has unleashed.
According to the trailer, Kayla has lost her job, she or someone she knows is about to be evicted from their house, and she doesn’t know what to do. CURS>R (pronounced Curser), an old video game with a $125,000 cash reward attached, seems to be the answer to her money woes when she finds out about it. Despite this, Kayla seems to be questioning whether or not the money is worth the suffering she will inflict in order to win the game.
