While a release date for Deadpool 3 has yet to be announced, we do know that the film will be produced by Marvel Studios They were hired to write the threequel in November 2020, Bob’s Burgers authors Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux-Login. Ryan Reynolds hinted to a 2022 start date for the picture in August of 2021, but the project is still in development.
There is a release window in mind for Deadpool 3, but Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige wouldn’t go so far as to actually tell us when that would occur.
In the meantime, we may take solace in the idea that this movie is going to happen and we’ll get to see it at some point.
Here’s all you need to know about Deadpool 3 as we await its release date.
Deadpool 3 Release
Despite Marvel Studios confirming Deadpool 3’s release, we still don’t have a release date.
However, it has been revealed that the threequel would be written by longtime Bob’s Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux Loeglin. According to Deadline, Reynolds felt the sisters’ approach was the “ideal fit” and thus recruited them.
Even if there are already screenwriters, the third film is still in the early stages of development, so we shouldn’t hold our breath waiting for it. However, Reynolds said in October 2021 that he was taking a vacation from acting and that the movie may begin filming as early as 2022.
If it begins filming in 2022, there is a possibility that we will see it in 2023. The Marvels, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and Ant-Man 3 have already been confirmed for that year by Marvel, but one date remains open: November 3.
In all likelihood, we’ll have to wait until 2024 before we can get our hands on this technology. As soon as a more precise start date for filming is announced, we’ll know exactly when to expect another appearance from the Merc with a Mouth.
Deadpool 3 Cast
Deadpool 3 will feature Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, so there’s no doubt about that. At this point in time, no other participants have confirmed their participation, so we’ll have to wait and see.
There have already been speculations among Marvel fans that he may return to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the role of Mordo because he appears to be on the poster. We’ll have to wait until May 2022 to find out if that’s the case.
Reynolds appeared in a commercial for Thor: Ragnarok as Korg, the character he plays in the movie.
In addition to the X-Force team, Deadpool 2 introduced us to a number of new characters, including Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz).
Beetz, on the other hand, isn’t sure if she’ll be returning, saying in March 2021 that she hadn’t heard anything about a job: “If I could, I’d like to bring back the role… So far, I haven’t had any direct discussions about it with anyone. But I’d like to know more.”
Assuming the X-Force returns, Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Yukio, Russell, and Peter will all be back, they’ll likely form the core of the team, potentially with Peter (Rob Delaney) as well.
Deadpool 3 fans shouldn’t expect to see the likes of Shatterstar (Lewis Tan) or Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgard), but superheroes typically outlive their supposed deaths in comic books, so you never know.
One character that has already survived death in the Deadpool franchise is Vanessa, Deadpool’s girlfriend, and it is safe to presume that she will return for the sequel.
When some fans accused the sequel of “fridging” Vanessa, Baccarin spoke up for her. “I can see why people felt that way, and I certainly was sad that I didn’t have more to do since I really loved the part so much,” she added.
For me, it felt like such an important role in the picture because of how my character’s arc is set in motion because of what happens to him on screen and in the narrative.
Since previous Easter eggs hinted that Mr. Sinister could be the big enemy of Deadpool 3, the Merc with a Mouth might have his hands full protecting her.
Omega Red’s cameo in the Ice Box Prison sequence of Deadpool 2 could possibly be a hint at the future of the franchise.
TJ Miller, who portrayed Weasel in the first two films, has stated that he’d “rather they didn’t” produce the third film, so we won’t be too upset if he doesn’t return. There has been a long-running feud between Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. We have no way of knowing for certain.

Deadpool 3 Plotline
“Often, they reboot or modify a character maybe like four movies too late,” he said, teasingly referring to the film’s upcoming threequel. Even if the Molyneux sisters’ approach to Deadpool differs from this, the MCU’s likely inclusion of the character means that it will already feel different.
Deadpool 3 will be R-rated despite claims from Deadpool’s original director that the film does not necessitate a R rating. “We previously indicated we would not tinker with [the rating],” Feige said in February 2021, confirming that Deadpool had “established” itself as an R-rated franchise.
As of now, it’s unclear how the film’s MCU ties will affect the series’ continuity from the first two films, or if it will be a soft reboot in actuality, In Deadpool 3, will time travel play a more major role?
After helping Deadpool correct the mistakes of his past, Negasonic Teenage Warhead returned to fix Cable’s time machine, which included a humorous yet regrettable decision by Ryan Reynolds’ character, Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

In addition, Marvel may use Deadpool 3 as a way to introduce new characters from Fox. According to Den of Geek’s interview with Wernick, the future of Deadpool may have a lot more crossovers.
“There’s a lot to figure out, such as where Deadpool fits into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and when he’ll be released. Then the question becomes, do the X-Men go in there at some point? Yes, they are! Lots of things need to be worked out.”
Leitch remarked: “If you include [Deadpool] with any of these characters, or even a group of them, the effect is amplified. As a result, they’re undoubtedly mulling through a wide range of possibilities, including this one.”
When it comes to Leitch and Disney, this is just a supposition on our part as well.
