The anime series Deca Dence was a major hit when it aired in the summer of 2020. Apocalyptic monster-fighting anime Attack on Titan has been likened to a clone of the popular Japanese series. People who were anti-Deca found themselves unable to hold back their laughter for long when a pivotal early twist transformed the game into something entirely fresh and innovative, winning over fans inside and outside of Japan. Since the end of the season, fans have been wondering if there will be a third season of the series. First original animated series from the studio and has been popular ever since. Deco-Dence fans can’t be sure if they’ll get any new stuff, even under the best of conditions.
In other words, a second season is unnecessary. However, the final episode of the original anime left very little possibility for a sequel. The series comes to a close with a bang, tying up all the loose ends and wrapping things up nicely. Filmmaker Yosuke Takahashi’s recent interview provides some hope. To the question of the possibility of Deca-Dence 2 being developed, Tachikawa responded that “communicating something fresh in a different format” was an option. Deca Dence Season 2 Release Date
Discord sales were low because there wasn’t much else for viewers to get excited about. As a result, it’s quite unlikely that Deca will return for a second season.
It doesn’t matter, though, because the anime world is full of unexpected surprises. A second season could air in 2022 if the showrunners and broadcasters decide to continue it.

In February 2021, the anime has not yet been renewed for a second season when this article was first written. There was no sign of a second season after the final episode aired on September 23. A long time has passed since Gadolls, a new and previously unknown species of life, threatened the survival of humanity with their extermination. Deca-Dence, a 3000-meter high castle built to protect its inhabitants from the Gadol invasion, is now home to those that remain. The first thing that springs to mind when considering how to protect yourself against huge beasts at a time when they are all but extinct is to build a massive castle. This castle can be moved around, which makes things easier on the Deca-Dence people. The fact that Japan has come together to face a massive and powerful threat is a source of national pride for the country.
There is some comfort in knowing that Deca-initial Dence’s series ended on a high note, but the show will not be rerun. The next seasonal anthem is just around the corner.
