Drugs and guns were seized, and two were arrested after a tip from the community on a Jacksonville drug house.
More than 500 grams of illegal drugs and four guns are off local streets after the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit detectives shut down a drug house off Sunbeam Road.
Jacksonville detectives received information a house on Ragsdale Drive was being used to sell drugs from a tip. They launched an investigation, quickly confirming known violent criminals were using the house to “push poison,” according to JSO. A search warrant for the house was obtained and the Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team served the warrant.
According to local law enforcement, they found:
- 18.3 grams of Fentanyl
- 353.1 grams of Methamphetamine
- 95.1 grams of Powder Cocaine
- 44.1 grams of Crack Cocaine
- 4.6 grams of MDMA
- 19.3 grams of Marijuana
- 3 handguns
- 1 rifle
- $7,522 in cash
Two men were arrested: 46-year-old Cornelius Bell and 39-year-old Ronald Craven.
“This investigation began thanks to a tip from our community,” JSO posted. “If you see drug activity in your neighborhood, we want to know; give us a call (904.630.0500) anytime. We take every one of your tips seriously.”
