A Florida man claimed a $5 million prize from a scratch-off game.
The Florida Lottery recently announced that Paul Cich, of DeFuniak Springs, claimed a $5 million top prize from the 200X The Cash scratch-off game.
The North Florida man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,779,400.
The Walton County winner purchased his winning ticket from Tom Thumb, located at 1966 U.S. 90 W. in DeFuniak Springs.
He claimed the top prize at lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
