Nicki Minaj has experienced increased levels of anxiety since becoming a mother. The artist has only lately revealed some open details about her journey as a mother.

According to ‘People magazine, Minaj, who is 39 years old, admitted that she has had “greater anxiety” after becoming a mother.

The rapper known as “Super Freaky Girl” discussed her struggles with anxiety during an interview with E! News. She has been a mother for the first time since September 30, 2020, when she gave birth to her first kid, a son whom she calls “Papa Bear.”

Minaj has expressed that when she is apart from her son, who is now 2 years old, she frequently has the sensation that her “heart is being ripped out.” Minaj is incredibly connected to her son. According to a comment from her in “People” magazine, she once said, “I remember being in the United Kingdom and just weeping.” “And every time I attempt to talk to him via FaceTime, my sadness increases. According to Minaj, her son, whom she shares with her husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, has never been cared for by a nanny. Minaj and Petty are the parents of the child.

“I’m a Trinidadian woman. Nannies and other unfamiliar people taking care of children is not something that is typical in our culture “— I quote her. “When it comes from mothers, it’s not necessarily a terrible thing. It’s simply that I need to work on my conditioning first. I have to get it out of my head that it’s a weird thing, because there are hundreds of celebrities who are doing it, and they’re having great children. I have to get that thought out of my head.”

“I despise the fact that I now have a higher level of worry because you’re like, ‘What if the one time I leave my child, I receive that phone call?'” She continued by saying, “I think moms feel like they have to be flawless,” which was her conclusion.
