The Orlando Fire Department is hiring for the position for Civilian Paramedic.
According to a recent update from Orlando Commissioner Shan Rose, the starting salary has been changed to the current starting salary pay range of $26.22 – $33.44.
The Orlando Fire Department is hiring for the position of Civilian Paramedic, which OFD says is a rewarding career full of opportunities for professional development and personal growth.
The position involves 911 emergency medical services, and 12-hour shifts. It offers a competitive benefits package, according to OFD, which includes a retirement plan, an educational reimbursement, employer-paid health insurance, free health screenings and wellness incentives, and access to free exercise classes and workout facilities.
It also offers an opportunity to join Recruit Program to obtain Firefighter certification.
