According to a story from the Shore News Beacon, two persons died in the collision, and two more were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other parties’ identities have not been made public.
Tony Khan, the owner of AEW and ROH, confirmed Briscoe’s demise. Khan vowed to support Briscoe’s family in any way he could. Jamin Pugh has sadly died away. He was a star in ROH for more than 20 years, from the inaugural show to the present, and is better known to fans as Jay Briscoe,” Khan said.

“Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH and continue to hold the titles. We’ll make every effort to help his family. Peace be with you, Jamin. Briscoe built his name in professional wrestling after beginning his in-ring career as a youngster while working with his brother Mark in ROH.
The Briscoes held the ROH tag team titles 13 times throughout their 20 years with the promotion. They had recently defeated FTR in what was regarded as one of the top bouts of 2022 to win the belts at the ROH Final Battle last month.
