Sight Unseen Episode 4 Ending Explained
In Episode 4 of Sight Unseen, Tess, a former police officer who is now legally blind, tries to figure out who killed Olivia Banks. Tess wants to join the police force again, but she is let down when she is told she has to work at a desk instead of at real crime scenes. Tess is not deterred and chooses to look into Olivia’s murder with the help of her guide, Sunny Patel, and her visual assistance app.
As Tess looks into the case, she finds that Olivia’s coworkers have alibis, which makes it seem like the case can’t be solved. She does more research and learns that Olivia’s workplace, Dash n Ship, has workers who are worried about being watched and having to work long hours. Tess works with private investigator Matt to find Olivia’s delivery route, which leads them to a house.
When they get to the cottage, they meet Rui, a kid who says he was at a school event when Olivia’s packages were stolen. But Rui remembers seeing Olivia fight with someone in a silver car with green lights a few nights before she died.
Jupiter is Olivia’s coworker, and Tess goes on a date with him to find out more. Tess doesn’t know this, but Jupiter’s car fits the description that Rui gave. Sunny warned Tess through the EyesUp app not to go on the date, but she did it anyway. During the chat, Jupiter talks about better times he had with Olivia and admits that he borrowed the car from another coworker, Ania.
When Tess and Jake talk to Ania, the shocking truth comes out. Ania admits she did it and says she was desperate because Olivia had promised her she would get rich by buying a lottery ticket, which she had not done. Ania hit Olivia with a tire iron and killed her in a fit of anger.
At the end of the show, Tess helps Sunny get the courage to sign the divorce papers, making her an official partner in solving crimes. Tess reassures Sunny, which makes their relationship stronger beyond the app for visual aids. The story explores themes of desperation, betrayal, and what happens when vows aren’t kept, leading to an intense and compelling ending.
