Call of Duty’s developers have officially stated that their future title would feature a “new Warzone experience.” Many speculate that it will be called Warzone 2, a brand new method to play the massively popular and lucrative battle royale series that swept the gaming industry in 2020.
Warzone was a welcome change of pace for the franchise, arriving just a few months after the release of Modern Warfare, a recreation of Call of Duty 4 from 2007. As a result, fans of the BR series will have high expectations of Infinity Ward in terms of what Warzone 2 may have in store for players, as well as how similar or different it will be from its predecessor.
While details are still scarce, read down to learn everything we know about Call of Duty Warzone 2 thus far: Because the Vanguard Royale mode in Warzone Pacific only employs weapons from the WW2 game, new firearms tend to shake up the meta in a dramatic way. The battle royale game is currently experiencing a number of glitches, leading the makers to apologise for the numerous bugs on Twitter. Seasons of Call of Duty normally include a slew of bug fixes, so there’s a high possibility Season 2 will address most of the major concerns.
A new Dark Aether hub planet centred on Egypt will be added to the game in addition to all of that material. Everything you need to know about Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 can be found right here.
Warzone Season 2 Released Date
Infinity Ward has yet to establish an official release date for Warzone 2 as of this writing. Considering when the first game was released, it was over five months after Modern Warfare, which means that players may have to wait until early 2023 for it to be released.
Of course, this is just conjecture, and we’ll update this section of the article as more information becomes available in the coming weeks and months. The release date for Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 is February 14. Season 2 has been postponed, according to Activision, in order to spend more time resolving flaws in Warzone Pacific.

Warzone Season 2 Gameplay
At this time, there are no details about Warzone 2 gameplay. It’s unclear whether the same concept will be presented as in the original Warzone, or whether we’ll be treated to something entirely new to the BR universe.
“COD 2022 is a sequel to MW 2019, and is being built with a new Warzone experience,” Infinity Ward stated.
This news might be read in a variety of ways, so we’ll have to wait and see what the developers are getting at in due time.
Is Split Screen Support Coming to Warzone 2
Split-screen gameplay has never been offered in Warzone previously, and it’s unclear whether the devs will maintain this attitude in the future.
Any new information on this subject will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.
Is Warzone 2 Going to Include Gulags
As previously said, the thought of a “new Warzone experience” clearly negates the possibility of Gulag inclusion.
The question is whether MW2 will have a theme and whether it will be a remake of the 2009 classic or a whole fresh spin.
Nonetheless, as we get more information for you, we will update this section.
Nebula V is a lethal chemical found in minute quantities throughout Caldera. This comes in the shape of a field upgrade called Nebula V Ammo, which doesn’t cause much more damage than regular ammo but does have a tremendous effect. The rounds from Nebula V ammo generate a deadly gas cloud when a player is revived.
The poisonous gas, like the circle collapse, causes damage. When adversaries are present, this makes it incredibly difficult to revive a teammate because your eyesight blurs, you take damage over time, and your gas mask lasts longer. Players can only swap out one clip of ammo with Nebula V ammo at a time, although that should suffice while fighting many foes up close.
The Nebula V Bomb, described as one of Warzone Pacific’s rarest objects, is a locked briefcase capable of creating a catastrophic explosion as well as a delayed gas release. The gas lasts for two minutes and can harm anyone who does not use a gas mask. When there isn’t much room to hide from other players in the late game, this weapon should be devastating.
By killing the armoured cargo trucks driving around Caldera, you can obtain a Nebula V Bomb. This truck, on the other hand, is no slouch, as it’s equipped with explosives and machine gun turrets to combat invading players. When the vehicle explodes, it will almost certainly drop valuable things, so be ready to retrieve the loot right away.
Bomber Plane In Call Of Duty Warzone Season 2
The Bomber Plane is Vanguard Royale’s newest vehicle, an air-to-ground attacker capable of damaging vehicles, soldiers, and loadout drops. Players couldn’t tamper with their opponents’ loadout drops before this upgrade. If players can’t rely on loadout drops to get their greatest set of weaponry, this Bomber Plane has the potential to shake up the meta.
Fighter planes and other anti-air weaponry can oppose Bomber Planes, therefore this vehicle shouldn’t get too powerful. In the case of planes, the next update will reduce the health of both vehicles, making it easier to shoot down those pesky birds.
Caldera Update For Call Of Duty Warzone Season 2
Caldera will receive two new sites of interest for the first time since the launch of the new Warzone map: Chemical Factory and Underground Chemical Weapons Research Labs. The Chemical Factory has taken over the site where phosphate was previously produced. The layout of this location is substantially unchanged, with the exception that enemy soldiers now patrol the area. As a result, the loot in this area has been increased, offering gamers another motivation to assault the facility.
Seven Underground Chemical Weapons Research Labs may be found around Caldera, each with high-level loot such as gas masks and Nebula V munitions. This location, like the factory, appears to be guarded by Axis forces; you should have some weapons available before attempting to enter.
A new blimp icon will appear on players’ maps: a Redeploy Balloon, similar to the ones featured in Apex Legends. These balloons allow you to launch into the air, allowing you to easily relocate your squad. Balloons are inflated at the start of the game, but players can deflate them using weapons or planes. To resurrect a deflated balloon, simply pay $300 in-game money to re-inflate it.
