In Gudauri Ski Resort of Georgia, a terrible group incident was reported to kill 12. Their bodies were identified to be that of 11 foreigners along with one local, Georgian National who were found lying on the second floor of an Indian restaurant in the popular resort area. Power Generator Suspected in Fatal Poisoning
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs said the tragedy might have been caused by a power generator that had been placed in a room inside the house close to the bedrooms. It is believed the generator was activated following a power outage on the evening prior to the incident.
The police have already initiated proceedings under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to a crime with elements of negligent manslaughter. Witness interrogation continues, and a forensic medical examination has been assigned to establish in detail the cause of his death.
