A Florida man claimed a $10 million Powerball prize.
The Florida Lottery recently announced that Christopher Trail, of Ocklawaha, claimed a $10 million prize from a previous Powerball drawing.
The Marion County man purchased his winning ticket from Circle K, located at 10030 County Road 44 in Leesburg in Lake County in Central Florida.
He claimed the massive $10 million prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The prize is from the drawing was held on March 11, 2026.
Since joining Powerball in 2009, the game has generated more than $3.37 billion in contributions to education statewide. Florida is among the top-selling Powerball states in the country, with more than 158 million winning tickets totaling more than $4.07 billion in prizes, including 17 jackpot winners.
Powerball drawings are broadcast live, in high definition, from the Florida Lottery’s state-of-the-art draw studio in Tallahassee. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Lottery’s website and official YouTube channel. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery’s website, free mobile app, at retailers statewide, and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.
The Florida Lottery is responsible for contributing more than $51 billion to enhance education and sending more than one million students to Florida’s colleges, universities, and technical schools through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.
