Spoilers for All of Us Are Dead are coming soon.
To follow up Netflix’s previous Korean genre shows, such as Kingdom and Train To Busan’s All of Us Are Dead and Squid Game’s Hellbound and The Silent Sea, All of Us Are Dead takes a violent high school setting and applies it to zombie fodder like Kingdom.
We’re sure you’re all eagerly awaiting the next episode of All of Us Are Dead, which is as addictive as it is well-executed. If that’s the case, you’ve found the proper location.
A second season of Lee Jae-All kyoo’s of Us are Dead has been “deliberately” built into the show, according to The Korea Herald.
There are a slew of scenes, settings, and directions that were created with the purpose of extending the plot into another season, including those that introduce the new zombie races, like the hybrids we see in the show’s second half.
“If the first season depicted humanity’s survival, the second season can discuss zombies’ survival. A new season is in the works, so stay tuned! “he said.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Release Date
Even if All of Us Are Dead hasn’t been renewed by Netflix yet, we have little doubt it won’t go quietly. Season two of a K-drama is uncommon, but if the show’s devoted audience pushes for it, we can expect fresh episodes to air in 2023. (hopefully sooner rather than later).
On February 7, All of Us Are Dead topped the daily Netflix TV charts in dozens of countries, including the United States, making it the second non-English language series to do so. This is the first time ever that South Korea has topped that list with two programs.
However, the renewal announcement may take longer than usual to arrive. After all, the second season of Squid Game wasn’t officially confirmed until late January 2022, four months after the show’s release.
The second season of All of Us Are Dead has been announced, and it stars…
As the title suggests, the majority of the original cast does not survive the first season. Only On-jo, Su-hyeok, Dae-su, Im Jae-hyuk, Ha Seung-ri, Mi-jin, and Hyo-ryung (all played by Park Ji-hu) are capable of it (Kim Bo-yoon).
Cho Yi-Choi hyun’s Nam-ra is the one character we can count on to make a return. Except, of course, if the program decides to start again with a whole new cast going ahead.
All of Us Are Dead season two will feature a bunch of new, blood-splattered faces.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Storyline
Nearly every character was killed off at the end of All of Us Are Dead. Zombies soon overran Hyosan after the initial outbreak, and the Korean military’s bombing quickly exterminated most of the undead.
A new outbreak could occur, even if most of the survivors had finished telling their tales. It would just take one zombie to re-destroy everything.
In addition, there’s Nam-Ra, who despite the sickness ravaging her body, has managed to keep her humanity. Many hybrids have discovered a way to take advantage of the virus, making them stronger and more resilient to pain than normal. The difficulty is that the need for human flesh is still there, so future episodes might really sink their teeth into that threat.
While Nam-Ra is with her pals in Joo Dong-original geun’s webtoon, she does not end up with the hybrids, as the show currently depicts her.
A tease suggests that the virus has now gone to Japan, and it’s definitely something season two could investigate, whether the show only alludes at it or whether the entire tale is relocated to overseas. A South Korean production like All of Us Are Dead would make it more unlikely.

Final Lines
Na Ra is left alone in the wild with other half-zombies, but the comic, on the other hand, closes with the infection perhaps spreading to Japan in the final panel. This could be a topic for the second season of the show. The series concludes with Nam Ra living in the woods with other half-zombies and with the virus perhaps spreading to Japan.
According to NME, director Lee Jae-kyoo envisioned a second season when he produced the blockbuster show. While speaking to The Korean Herald on the possibility of a second season, Lee claimed that “several directions, places and scenarios were purposely produced to grow the plot into a new race of zombies.”
He continued, “It’s fair to say that season one dealt with humanity’s survival, whereas season two will focus on zombies. Eventually, I’d like to offer a second season to the audience.”
