Baka and Test Season 3: Premiere Date, Characters, Plot

To translate ‘Idiots, Tests, and Summoned Beasts’ into Japanese, the phrase ‘Baka to Tesuto to Shkanj’ is used. ‘Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts’, a light book series written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Yui Haga, is sometimes referred to as ‘Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts’. The novel was first published in January 2007 and remained in print until March 2015 under the Famitsu Bunko Imprint of Enterbrain. During this time period, a total of 18 novels were written, 12 of which were part of the main plot and the other six were added on as side stories. Each of the three manga adaptations of the light novel is unique in its own way.

Kadokawa Shoten’s popular ‘Shnen Ace’ magazine published the first one titled ‘Baka to test Shkanjo’ from April 2009 to June 2015. To date, a total of 13 tankbon volumes featuring pictures by Mosuke Mattaku and Yumeuta have been published. BookWalker currently has an English translation of this comic. ‘Baka to Test to Shkanj Ja,’ the sequel adaption, again appeared in ‘Shenen Ace,’ but this time with artwork by Koizumi. There were four volumes published between February 2010 and January 2014 in this series. Enterbrain’s web-magazine ‘Famitsu Comic Clear’ featured Namo’s ‘Baka to Test to Shkanj Spinout! Baka and Test Plot and Characters

Most of the anime’s storey revolves around the antics of the fictional Japanese school Fumizuki Academy, where pupils are subjected to harsh academic discrimination. As a result, the school is up up about this reality and even encourages students to engage in friendly competition for the greatest school resources. Students can choose from six different sections, all of which offer varying degrees of comfort.

Section A is the most luxurious, featuring plush seating, air conditioning, and a snack bar for students to use at no cost. Section F, on the other hand, is a pitiful sight, complete with worn-out mats and low wooden tables. Part A is reserved for the school’s top pupils, while Section F is home to the school’s bottom students, and the middle section is reserved for the school’s average students. Those kids who are unable to perform in the school due to the institution’s constant criticism are unfairly penalised by this. The divide between the two sections widens since the terrible pupils don’t have access to laptops, while the great ones do.

Due to the imbalance, they’ve instituted a new system of combat that allows students to duke it out for entrance to the best classrooms. But there’s a price. For pupils unable to climb in academic ranks, this gives them a chance to do so through extracurricular activities. Good students are no longer given an unfair edge, and it’s time to level the playing field, or so one would assume!

It’s not the students vs. the other students who fight, but rather the students vs. the “Shkanj” or “Avatars” they call. They can be called at will, but they aren’t able to interact with normal objects, thus an instructor must constantly be present to keep an eye on the proceedings. There are better avatars for Section A pupils, while Section F students have to make do with the worst.

The summoned avatar’s health points will always be equal to the most recent test score received by its user, which adds to the imbalance. Because of this, Section A students get access to the best summons and their unit’s health total is always bigger than their opponents’ health totals, as the rule says. The health total of the avatar is tied to the grade received in the topic taught by the instructor who is supervising the battle. A student’s avatar’s health total will be lower than other classes’ if they are deficient in Math.

Both students summon their avatars and fight until one of their health points dwindles to zero, at which point the duel ends. There are several ways to accomplish this, but the most surefire one is to hit your opponent, which lowers their health bar. In order to avoid detention with Soichi Nishimura, the dreaded remedial instructor, the person who loses the duel must go to detention with him. He has been dubbed the “Iron Man” because of his twisted methods of punishment. A brief exam can be taken to replenish the health points if the student’s avatar gets to leave before they hit zero. The avatar can continue fighting if they pass the exam.
