JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After being shut down because of an accident around 12:30 in the afternoon, the Dames Point Bridge is once again open in both directions.
As of 10:20 in the morning, deputies from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office were on their way to the scene of the car accident. On the bridge, there was an overturned semi-truck that was visible.
