Jade Cargill Early Years
Jade Cargill was born in Gifford, Florida, on June 3, 1992. Her parents were from the United States and Jamaica. Cargill went to Sebastian River High School and then Vero Beach High School. She was on the basketball teams at both schools.
As a Vero Beach High School senior, she was named MVP after helping both teams win district championships. Cargill did not stop there. While she was going to school at Jacksonville University, she kept playing basketball.
As a freshman, she was named the most valuable player on her team and “Freshman of the Year.” This early success gave her the confidence to keep playing basketball in college. Cargill was named to the Atlantic Sun Preseason First Team in her senior year. Jade Cargill had a lot of basketball success in high school and college, so it made sense that she made her debut with NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal years later.
Jade Cargill Career Beginnings
Cargill started her education at Jacksonville University, earning a bachelor’s degree in social science. She then went on to make more degrees. Soon after that, Jade went on to get her Master’s in child psychology. Soon after she graduated, Cargill went to work as a psychologist with kids in Florida schools. Cargill knew that working in child psychology could put a lot of emotional stress on people.
At the same time, Jade was talking to Mark Henry about starting a career in wrestling. She felt like it was time for a change. Cargill began professional wrestling with the help of Mark Henry and former WWE wrestler Heath Slater when she realised that child psychology was not the path she had imagined for herself.
Professional wrestling can be hard to start, but Mark Henry suggested that Jade goes to the Face 2 Face Wrestling School, which Richard Borger and Slater run. Since 2019, wrestlers have had to choose between AEW and WWE, depending on where their skills would be better used. Cargill didn’t spend much time at the Face 2 Face wrestling school before going to the Nightmare Factory to train for AEW.
Even though she only had a short training session at Face 2 Face, she says that training with Heath and Henry and at the Nightmare Factory made her ready to join the AEW roster.
Jade Cargill All Elite Wrestling Debut
All Elite Wrestling and Cargill have made a deal for several years. In 2020, she made her professional wrestling debut on Dynamite. Mark Sterling was chosen instead of Matt Hardy, as was said in 2021.
In the 2021 episode of Dynamite, Cargill and O’Neal beat Cody and Velvet. This was Velvet’s first professional wrestling match. Even though Matt Hardy offered to be the manager, Mark Sterling was chosen instead, as the Dynamite episode showed.
From November 2021 to January 2022, Cargill won the AEW TBS Championship for the first time. In the finals, she beat Red Velvet, Thunder Rosa, and Ruby Soho, making her the tournament winner. Then, when A. Q. A. started with AEW, she defended her title against him and won.
She helped start The Baddies stable with Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan. Stokely Hathaway took over as her manager at Double or Nothing, and Cargill beat Willow Nightingale to keep her Road Rager title.

Cargill had been dating Bradon Phillips, a former Major League Baseball player, for more than five years, and they had a child named Bailey Quinn. Jade likes to capture the X-Men universe in her ring outfit, which makes fans imagine her in many different Marvel future projects.
