Jamie Meyrick, 19 years old, died when his car crashed into a lake in South Wairarapa. A Masterton police spokesman said the accident on a bridge at Lake Ferry killed a farm worker named Jamie Meyrick. He was one of three people who died in car accidents in New Zealand this weekend. All of the accidents happened on the North Island. Yesterday, two cars crashed outside of Featherston, and today, two people were in the intensive care unit at Wellington Hospital. No one knew how they were doing, but it was thought that their injuries were terrible.
