Swift was born on December 13, 1989. Her career spans genres, and her narrative songwriting is generally inspired by her personal life. Swift came to Nashville aged 14 to pursue a country music career. She signed with Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2004 and Big Machine Records in 2005. First female country musician to write or co-write every song on a platinum-certified album.
Swift’s 2008 and 2010 albums explored country pop. “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me” were the first country songs to top US pop and all-genre charts. She experimented with rock and electronic styles on Red (2012), which features “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” and recalibrated her identity from country to pop with her synth-pop fifth studio album, 1989 (2014), supported by the chart-topping singles “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” and “Bad Blood.”

Taylor Swift Reveals the Full 13-Song Tracklist for ‘Midnights’ and Confirms Lana Del Rey Works Together
Fans of Taylor Swift can rest easy until at least October 21. In the final instalment of her TikTok series titled “Midnights Mayhem with Me,” which aired late Friday night, Taylor Swift revealed the remaining five song titles from Midnights, bringing the total number of songs on the album to 13.
The fourth single, “Snow on the Beach,” will feature a cameo appearance from Lana Del Rey, confirming speculations about the duo performing together that were initially spurred by a group selfie uploaded earlier this year. Without a doubt, today is a monumental occasion for listeners of both Jack Antonoff teams.

After releasing each song by a random draw from a bingo cage, Swift commented, “It’s been legitimately chaotic, and I’ve relished every second of it” in the final film. “I appreciate you coming with me on this adventure. It’s been completely insane.”
“What is it that keeps you awake at night? Midnights (and its 13 stories) won’t be available until you’ve made it through another 13 “After the reveal, Swift wrote on Instagram to share the album’s final tracklist.
Swift revealed in her Friday announcement of “Lavender Haze” that the title was inspired by an episode of Mad Men. She later revealed in an Instagram clip that her romance with actor Joe Alwyn served as inspiration for the song.

The couple has been dodging “strange stories, tabloid crap, and we just ignore it,” Swift said of their six-year romance. This song, then, is about turning a blind eye to trivial matters in order to safeguard what really matters.
Among the songs included on the album are “Lavender Haze,” “Maroon,” “Anti-Hero,” “Snow on the Beach,” and “Stay.” You’re a Stranger Here Yourself, Midnight Rain, Question…?, Vigilante S—-, Bejeweled, The Labyrinth, Karma, Sweet Nothing, and Mastermind. Swift said Sunday that album track three, “Anti-Hero,” is “one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written.”
Swift has remarked on the song, “This song is a real guided tour across all the things that I tend to despise about myself.” “Every single one of us has something about ourselves that we despise, and if we’re going to be this person, we have to accept all of our flaws and strengths. So yeah, I really dig “Anti-Hero” due to its refreshingly straightforward nature.”
Despite the fact that not every title has been accompanied by an in-depth explanation just yet, Swift has continued to provide info on her 10th studio album since she unexpectedly announced it during her video of the year award speech at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards in August.
Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.

A few hours later, Swift expanded on her Midnight’s announcement, calling the album a “collection of music made in the middle of the night, a voyage through terrors and lovely dreams.” The floors we pace and the demons we face,” Swift wrote on Twitter. To all of us who have tossed and turned, who have kept the lamps burning and who continue to look, in the vain hope that at midnight we may discover who we really are.
While Swift has been working to re-record her earlier albums, Midnights is a completely separate project. Red (Taylor’s Version), a re-recorded version of her 2012 album that includes new songs “from the vault,” follows the massively successful Fearless (Taylor’s Version) last November. After music manager Scooter Braun purchased her back catalogue in June 2019, this was the second re-recorded album she released.
