He joined Tommy Baldwin Racing in April of 2012 and competed in six NASCAR Nationwide Series races that year.
In July 2012, Blaney signed on with Team Penske to compete in at least three Nationwide Series events. On September 15, 2012, at Iowa Speedway, he became the youngest winner in the history of the Camping World Truck Series while driving for Brad Keselowski Racing in the series—the present moment.
