Seashells were seized from three passengers arriving in Jacksonville.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection stated it is unlawful to import or export wildlife without a permit, and all of the items seized from the three different passengers arriving to Jacksonville, Florida from Cuba are protected under international law.

They were turned over to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, according to CBP.
