Shawn is survived by his parents, along with his brother, Justin Contois, and Justin’s wife, Kathrine Contois, of Montclair, Va. Together, they have four children: Isla, Everett, Adelaide, and Owen. He is also survived by his two sisters, Beth Contois of Lunenburg, and Jennifer Contois of Hudson, along with their respective children, Anthony, and Giuliana Tammaro.
Shawn received his education in Grafton public schools and graduated from Blackstone Regional Vocational Technical High School in Upton in 2003. He often described himself as a versatile individual with extensive experience in landscaping and construction.
