Richard M. Chamberlain, 90, of Elloree, South Carolina, died peacefully at home on Thursday, September 28, 2023. He was raised in Caro, Michigan, after being born in Lodi, Ohio, to the late Frank and Vera Chamberlain.
Richard was a veteran of the Air Force who seen the world, meeting “Anne” in London, England, the love of his life. In Ohio, where he pursued a career in data processing technology and later worked as an associate professor teaching computer science and business management at Lorain County Community College and Cuyahoga Community College, the couple raised three children together.
He loved being outside, going camping, and bowling. Richard’s parents, Frank and Vera, brother Frank, and sister, Mary Ann Sangston, all passed away before him.

Lois Fuller-Johnson, Richard’s devoted friend, and his three children, David Chamberlain (Rose), Julie Kostas, and Connie Ellis (Scott), along with twenty-one great-grandchildren and thirteen grandkids, survived him.
