Missing Actor Cole Brings Plenty Found Dead
In a social media announcement, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office stated that on April 5, deputies discovered a 27-year-old man’s body in a forested area. Investigators were sent to look into an abandoned car on Homestead Lane at approximately 11:45 a.m. local time, according to the sheriff’s office.
The medical examiner and crime scene detectives were there, however the cause of death remained unknown. Brings Plenty was accused of aggravated burglary, domestic violence, and criminal restraint two days prior in a neighboring county. A warrant for an arrest was issued.
The town of Lawrence police reported that on Sunday, they were called to an apartment where a woman was calling for assistance, and Brings Plenty had already left. According to the Lawrence Police Department, traffic cameras saw him driving south on 59 Highway as soon as the event occurred, out of the city. According to the authorities, he was operating a 2005 Ford Explorer with a license plate from Kansas.
His agency, Peter Yanke of Phirgun Mair Worldwide, stated last week that he then failed to show up for an audition for an upcoming film project that was set for Monday morning over Zoom. Drones were reportedly deployed by the authorities in their search for the missing actor.
According to a statement released by Brings Plenty’s father Joe on Friday, he is appreciative of everyone “for their prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole.”
Joe Brings Plenty Sr. remarked, “I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole’s heart and loved him.”
Cole Brings Plenty made two appearances in the first season of “1923,” Harrison Ford’s Paramount+ series that serves as a prequel to the blockbuster Paramount Network series “Yellowstone.” Not too long ago, he played supporting roles in two more INSP TV Westerns: “Into the Wild Frontier” and “The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.”
