Fans are eagerly awaiting information about Ryan Murphy’s upcoming horrific tale as American Horror Story season 11 approaches. Who would have thought that the show that introduced us to the, eh, “world” of cranking would still be going strong more than ten years after it first aired? With this anthology series providing us the best (and occasionally not-so-much) of the intricate world of horror, the team has never been shy to shake things up.
Red Tide gave Season 10 an amazing start, but the Death Valley segment let us down with plotting typical of Ryan Murphy’s hit-and-miss offshoot American Horror Stories. The one thing you can be sure of, though, is that American Horror Story shouldn’t be written off just yet. We still have a long way to go, folks, since FX renewed Murphy’s flagship show for an astounding three additional seasons in January 2020.
“Ryan and Brad are the undisputed masters of horror TV,” declared FX chairman John Landgraf at the time. “They pioneered the anthological limited series with American Horror Story and maintained its dominance for nearly a decade as FX’s highest-rated series.” What will happen next in this magnificent freak show? Will American Horror Story return to its roots in season 11 or will the show’s creators try even more novel approaches?
And is there a potential for another crossover? Lord Satan knows that if Jessica Lange were to make a comeback and play one of her greatest parts at least one more, the world would be a better place. The eleventh season of American Horror Story is described in detail below.

When might American Horror Story season 11 be released?
Unfortunately, there is currently no concrete date for the return of American Horror Story as of June 2022. But unlike many other series, it appears to be quite easy to predict when it will return to our televisions. The airing schedule of American Horror Story has remained largely constant throughout the course of its ten-year run, even though the show’s internal timeline may be a confusing tangle.
Before season nine, a new story debuted every year in late September or early October, and the horrifying (or occasionally just plain perplexing) conclusion occurred right before Christmas. Due to COVID-related delays, 2020 was completely missed; however, the show release continued, with season 10 debuting in October 2021.
As a result, if nothing else goes wrong, it seems likely that production will continue in this direction, and season 11 of American Horror Story will most likely premiere in September or October of 2022. It will air on Disney+ in the UK, like it did for season 10, and on FX in the US as usual. AMERICA HORROR STORY IS AVAILABLE ON DISNEY+.
Who will appear in American Horror Story season 11?
There hasn’t been any confirmation about the cast of the most recent AHS universe as of July 2022. American Horror Story does have regular cast members, but over time and after spending a lot of time in the spotlight, actors like Jessica Lange and Evan Peters have retired. Sarah Paulson, who frequently plays a pivotal role in the programme, is now the most dependable repeat cast member.

But even she acknowledged that season 10 might be her last in an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen (via E! News). “I don’t know for the first time in roughly three years. I anticipate that this is my final season of Horror Story. I mean, I have no idea,” she admitted. “Every time he presents me with a crazy persona, I usually say, “Yes! Let’s do it!” But I’m not sure.
A new Supreme has joined American Horror Story. Expect to see more from recent fan favourites like Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, Leslie Grossman, and Angelica Ross as the old guard gradually makes way for new endeavours. Finn Wittrock is now donning some spandex to portray Green Lantern in a new HBO Max show, so it seems unlikely that he will join them if they do up up making an appearance in season 11.

It’s difficult to respond to because American Horror Story is such a big part of who she is, she added. “When I was 17 years old, I initially started acting and was learning about myself. At that time, I played Violet. As a result, anytime someone cites Horror Story, people tend to say, “Ah, it’s a little bit of home.” It’s almost like a timing issue. I am aware that there have been past discussions, but at the time I was filming for Covid, travelling, and all these regulations.
“So, absolutely, I can never say no if the opportunity and the timing are appropriate. And yes, a cameo is an interesting concept because it allows us to meet up and say, “Hey, it’s me.” “However, I’m still closest friends with members of the crew, makeup artists, and hair stylists. You overhear them discussing the programme. Then I say, “But I miss it.” You know, it’s kind of a funny mixture of all those emotions. So, at least, it’s not a “no.”
What will the storyline for American Horror Story season 11 be?
When it comes to American Horror Story, this is always the million-dollar question. One thing we do know is that, unlike season 10, the television show will not reprise its two-half season format. For the episode of season 11, they intend to return to the more time-tested setup. There will be only one story, with flashbacks to clarify the action.
The Wrap quoted John Landgraf as saying, “What I can tell you is that the season 11 concept is one story. Although it actually occurs in several separate timelines, it has a single subject and a single plot with a beginning, middle, and finish, just like many of the earlier tales. “I genuinely really like this idea too, I think it’s pretty fantastic,” he subsequently remarked in reference to the future.
This does not reveal anything, but it is not surprising given how secretive the crafty creative team, headed by series creator Ryan Murphy, is about each American Horror Story theme. But in April 2021, Murphy pioneered new territory and invited the fandom to weigh in on their future expectations.
Murphy polled Twitter users on a number of potential themes, including Aliens, Christmas Horror, Bloody Mary, Piggy Man, Sirens, and Plague. The poll is now removed. Of course, aliens played a significant role in season 10, so we doubt they’ll be returning very soon. What about these other choices, though? Since Ryan used the words “Expanding the Universe” in his initial tweet, it’s possible that this has nothing to do with season 11. But for the time being, this is all we have.
Sirens and Bloody Mary were the final two choices that turned out to be the most well-liked ones. The only issue is that Ryan withheld the results of the poll and, more importantly, if they would ever have an impact on American Horror Story season 11.
American Horror Story season 10’s big issue was almost resolved
Bloody Mary, it is now thought, won’t appear in the main American Horror Stories season; rather, it will appear in the second season of the spin-off, which will premiere in July. The mythical beings known as Sirens—which would seduce pirates and lead them to their demise—are now up for grabs. American Horror Story may be set on Fire Island, according to fan speculation, if reports are true that the programme is filming in New York this summer (though we haven’t seen this confirmed by any official source).
Ryan Murphy’s work is very much in line with Fire Island, a well-known LGBTQ+ vacation and party destination. It also has a well-established mythology around pirates that corresponds to the notion of sirens tempting men on board ships to sail too close to the shore, causing their boats to collide and sink them along with it. But alas, aside from Reddit rumours, there is nothing to support this theory, and Murphy is not likely to reveal anything any time soon. However, as soon as we have more specific information, we’ll let you know.
Is there a trailer for American Horror Story season 11 yet?
We apologize to everyone for the lack of fresh footage at this time. Until we overthrow the current Supreme and take over as leader of the coven, our foresight isn’t strong enough to disclose what new film will look like. Having said that, we wouldn’t be surprised if the premiere of American Horror Story season 11 occurs no later than the end of the summer of 2022. We provide Season 11 trailer in above section.
Anyhow, we’ll keep you informed. In the US, American Horror Story airs on FX, and in the UK, it can be watched on Disney+.
