Similar to Eminem’s last album Encore, Curtain Call: The Hits debuted at the top of the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200 after just two days of sales. Almost 441,000 copies were sold in the first week, and close to 324,000 copies were scanned in the second week for a two-week reign at the top of the Billboard album chart. In its third week, it dropped from number one to number four, but by the end of the week, sales had risen by 33% to close to 430,000. Over 1.2 million discs were scanned in the first three weeks of availability.

His latest album, Eminem’s fifth straight the US and UK number one, also included the 8 Mile soundtrack. The album had sold 3,782,000 copies in the US as of November 2013. The RIAA later certified Curtain Call Diamond in the US. Songs like “When I’m Gone” and “Shake That,” from the album, reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Only in the United Kingdom, where it peaked, did “When I’m Gone” make the cut for the charts. In August 2017, the album became the Billboard 200’s longest-running rap album.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, has finally announced that the album Curtain Call will have a sequel. On his official Instagram account this week, the popular rapper shared this wonderful news with all of his followers. Only a few songs from the upcoming album Curtain Call have been released thus far.
Sources say the album will include songs from Eminem’s 2009 album, “Relapse,” as well as music from other projects and soundtracks. In addition, Eminem has recently published a new song.
