Darris Love, a former co-star on the Nickelodeon show The Secret World of Alex Mack, was taken into custody on Christmas Eve in Los Angeles as part of an investigation into allegations of domestic violence.
According to the publication, members of the LAPD were dispatched to the actor’s residence on Saturday after receiving a domestic dispute report.
Love’s girlfriend told officers that the two of them had gotten into an argument, during which Love allegedly struck her in the back of the head. According to the accounts, she did not sustain any injuries, and there were no apparent markings on her body.

Love was taken into custody, jailed on a charge of misdemeanor domestic abuse, and then freed after posting a $20,000 bond. Love’s representative has been contacted by Deadline to request a statement.
