Why is Charlie Woods Limping? Charlie Woods is also in pain. However, you can take a breath. Notah Begay remarked, “You know these kids: They’ll be running by tomorrow.”

Indeed. The good news is that. The bad news is that Charlie, Tiger Woods‘ 13-year-old kid and a 15-time major winner, would not be able to play in this weekend’s PNC Championship, which pits major winners against their kin. On the Golf Channel broadcast, analyst and family friend Begay revealed that the younger Woods’ left leg limp on Friday during the pro-am was caused by him rolling his ankle while striking balls on the driving range.

Tiger was questioned about Charlie’s well-being in a press conference following the round. He is, Tiger responded. Although not perfect, his ankle is better than mine. We’ll be prepared when the game starts tomorrow, he said with a chuckle.

Woods claimed Charlie’s limp was caused by a “growth spurt,” according to Todd Lewis of Golf Channel, who wrote about Tiger’s news conference.

Charlie follows his father in being uncomfortable for whatever reason. However, Tiger’s suffering is in the other leg. The proper foot condition that the elder Woods is experiencing, plantar fasciitis, is a complication of multiple injuries to his right leg sustained in a car accident in early 2021.

“I know my family and friends are saying, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me. How is Charlie doing? Is he suffering from plantar fasciitis? “Dan Hicks, the announcer, stated during the broadcast. But according to Notah Begay, Charlie hurt his ankle while practicing his swing at the driving range.

Begay responded, “Yeah, I wouldn’t call it a sprain. He rolled it in a way. He responded, “Ah, it’s just a little unsteady at this time,” when I questioned him.

Woods is limping, Hicks said. “We didn’t come here to do that. Man, if they triumph in this contest, it will be the most significant victory ever.

The PGA Tour’s Twitter account had posted a video of the younger Woods warming up before the pro-am, and the Twitter user @TWlegion observed that his left leg was wrapped up. He limped during the broadcast but continued to play, and on Saturday at just after noon ET, he and his father are set to begin their first round.

Hicks and analyst Peter Jacobsen repeatedly noted the younger Woods’ limp on Friday.

Jacobsen declared, “I want to be like my dad, but I’m even going to add the limp.” Hicks remarked, “He’s going to extremes here.

The revelation on Friday comes after a year in which Tiger Woods competed in just three competitions: the Masters, PGA Championship, and Open Championship. Earlier this month, he was scheduled to compete in the Hero World Championship, but he pulled out three days before the event began due to plantar fasciitis.

Then, Woods participated in the most recent Match last week and this coming weekend. However, carts are permitted for both occasions.

Woods admitted during the Hero World Challenge, also hosted by his charity, “Yeah, I can hit golf balls.” “Walking hurts more than anything else. The only thing you can do to treat plantar fasciitis is to rest and try to stretch it out as much as you can, but rest is still necessary. How do you get any sleep when running a tournament? I realize it isn’t straightforward.

So this week will be challenging. Charlie will take care of all of the shots during the Father-Son match, and all I have to do is make the putts into the hole. However, aside from that, we are flying on carts during the game we are playing.
