Here we are talking about 1 injured and Shooter Killed in Amazon Chandler Shooting. On Wednesday, the Chandler Police Department was looking into a gunshot that occurred at an Amazon Flex Warehouse close to McQueen and Queen Creek roads.
The police were contacted after a man, later identified as 29-year-old Jacob Murphy, shot another man in the parking lot of the Amazon warehouse at about 9:30 a.m., according to Chandler police spokesperson Sgt. Jason McClimans. An Amazon contractor who had been shot and sustained life-threatening wounds was transported to the hospital.
Another male Amazon contractor shot Murphy after the shooting, according to McClimans. Police were unable to determine if the third individual shot and killed Murphy or if Murphy committed himself before passing away at the scene. According to authorities, the second male contractor is not being jailed as a result of his behavior.
The incident did not result in any other injuries. According to McClimans, both Amazon contractors are working with the police. It’s unclear how the victim of the shooting and Murphy are connected.

Later, McClimans said that authorities had concluded that the shooting was the result of personal problems and was unrelated to Amazon or the delivery facility. When shots were fired, contract delivery driver Bryson Bobbitt was in his delivery truck in the parking lot.
Bobbitt claimed he swiftly drove his pickup to safety after seeing that people were fleeing the area. It’s frightening at first, but now that everything has settled down, things are returning to normal.
The Arizona Republic was informed by Amazon contractors and workers who arrived for work around 10:30 a.m. that they had been sent home. Operations have been suspended, according to a statement from Amazon spokesperson Richard Rocha, and everyone has been sent home with pay.
“This senseless act of violence in our parking lot leaves us very disturbed. We’re carefully collaborating with law enforcement as they look into the matter and are concentrated on helping our team through this trying time “said Rocha.
