3 Cent Items at Walmart purportedly reduced the number of summer clearance items this week to only cost three cents, but it appears that the offer was made unintentionally. Many TikTokers have claimed that the business has prevented them from buying three-cent products after they have already filled their trolleys, alleging that the items should have been taken off the sales floor.
Users @naturallysunday, @tishsfreebies, and @orlandoqponqueen, among others, tweeted about the things they discovered discounted down to three cents on TikTok. Bras, underwear, swimsuits, summer apparel, and even a vanity mirror were frequently seen items.
In her video, user @tishsfreebies announces that she “scored huge time” and urges viewers to visit Walmart right away. As she was being checked out, she can be seen in the footage with numerous mounds of clothing. Even though TikToker was able to benefit from the substantial discount, other users complained that they weren’t as fortunate at their nearby Walmarts.
A PSA video was published on TikTok by user @chelsssfarmer on Wednesday to “everyone who’s going to Walmart to get the three-cent products.” She claims that she stocked up on several goods because, like everyone else, she was thrilled to discover the bargain at Walmart. But when she went to pay, a worker had noted her items.

In the video, @chelsssfarmer describes the employee as saying, “I guess the home office store unintentionally cleared out like all the seasonal summer items—like shorts and all that—and that’s why they’re all ringing up three cents.” “And I suppose that they caught that and that’s why it’s not letting you purchase any of the three-cent goods. All of them are being called home.
She was “very unhappy,” the TikToker continues, when her full cart of discounted goods was hauled away. Walmart personnel retaliated against other TikTokers more vehemently to stop customers from taking advantage of the sale.
After attempting to buy a cart full of three-cent things, according to user @latinchic66, she was expelled from a Walmart. She claims that the store manager “yanked” her cart away and calls the behavior of the other staff “ridiculous.”
@hideeblue7, a different TikTok creator, claims that while attempting to buy the three-cent products at Walmart, she was detained. In the video, a Walmart staff is seen attempting to prevent her from a recording by removing her cart. She claims that after she complained about the store’s unwillingness to recognize the sale, a police officer detained her for “trespassing.”
A shopper named @ahappycouponer claims a Walmart staff grabbed several three-cent goods out of her hands while she was paying. According to the user, once the employee accused the TikToker of stealing, the manager threatened to have her kicked out of the business and contact the police.
Numerous viewers and commenters urged the consumers to report their events to Walmart HR and perhaps pursue legal action against the firm in reaction to the deluge of videos criticizing Walmart. Numerous TikTokers claimed to have at least phoned HR, and some claimed to be considering taking more drastic measures.
When cashiers refused to acknowledge her purchases in one instance, the user @classy chocolatequeen claims she called Walmart customer support. She continues by saying that she intends to report the nasty customer support representative she spoke with. The Daily Dot contacted Walmart via its media request form and the aforementioned TikTokers via comments on their videos.
